We added a little spice to our lives with Sofia, so appropriately, she dressed as a chili pepper for Halloween. Isn't she adorable!
Sofia was not so happy in the pumpkin hat once again. There are some pumpkins in this patch bigger than she is.

Sofia had a few issues with the pumpkin hat. More often than not, she ended up crying when we put it on her, as you will see in other pictures. Here she sports halloween jammies as well! We really got her in the spirit of things!
Our little pumpkin head is starting to smile more and more. She delights us with her squeals and smiles!

Sofia has discovered the joy of sucking her thumb!

eight weeks and five shots!

we went for her 8 week checkup today and little sofia got five shots! she was not too happy about that but who can blame her! She has grown a lot.. almost three inches and three pounds since her last visit at 2 weeks. She weighs in at 9 pounds and 12 ounces now which is in the 25th percentile. She is 23 3/4 inches long- which puts her in the 95th %! So basically she is a long string bean. She is doing great though and learning to smile at us now. she is definitely getting control of her bobble head and becoming more interactive with us each day. She has discovered how to shriek, and she delights herself (and us!) each time she does it! We are doing great and enjoying every moment of parenthood.

This one is for those who claim babies do not start smmiling until they are about 4 months old.
